If Zoe does not give you the information you asked for on the first pass, ask her why! Talk to her like an analyst, she can guide you in refining the results. For example you can ask her things such as:
What assumptions did you use to come up with that answer?
What table(s) did you use to get these results?
What was the SQL generated to retrieve the data?
How can I better reframe the question?
Similarly if she gives you the correct answer you can ask her how she arrived to get that result:
What was the logic you used to arrive at these results?
Can you explain in detail the steps you took to get there?
